About TM Ward (Darlington) Ltd
T M Ward (Darlington) Ltd was established in 1974 by Thomas M Ward to supply operated plant to the construction industry. Over five decades the business has changed both direction and management, and following the retirement of Tony Ward from day-to-day operations in 2024, activities such as waste recycling, plant hire, bulk earthworks, civil engineering and demolition are no longer carried out.
Although Tony Ward remains actively involved, the day-to-day running of the company is now the responsibility of Lee Norman. Under Lee, TM Ward (Darlington) Ltd concentrates on transport logistics, with the main thrust of low loader and tipper transport, supported by HGV maintenance and repairs at its IRTEC-accredited workshop.
With IPAF-accredited drivers, expertise in the movement of access equipment and all types of plant (including STGO movements), and storage and rental facilities at its Faverdale site, TM Ward (Darlington) Ltd provides a complete, reliable transport and support solution.
